“ I'm a modern wedding photographer who loves a good relaxed city wedding, so I was incredibly excited to shoot a wedding at Frederiks. Hope Street is such an iconic road in Liverpool. Frederiks is situated between 2 massive cathedrals and 2 brilliant theatres, and right next to the historic Georgian Quarter. The events room at the back of the venue was where the wedding reception took place, called the Pillbox. It felt so chic yet so laid back, everyone drinking cocktails illuminated mostly by candles and fairylights. I took the couple out for evening portraits around Hope Street, which gave their portraits a modern and spontaneous feel. I can't wait to shoot another wedding there one day. ”
